A Dynamo alumni, Valentin Gonzalez has played at the high school and college level as well. Coach Valentin played four years of varsity high school soccer as well as three years for Fresno Pacific University. He hopes that by coaching, he will continue with the Dynamo legacy and help improve soccer in the Imperial Valley. As a player, Coach Valentin won the Cal South Open State Cup championship in 2005, participated in the National Cup in years 2006 – 2008, won the Presidio Premier Championship in 2006, the GSAC Regional Championship in 2007 and was a participant of the NAIA National in 2007 and 2008. Coach Valentin currently resides in the City of Imperial and works for IBEW #569.
